The Battle Sentry was a mob found in Slider's Labyrinth dungeons.
Spawning[edit | edit source]
Battle Sentries spawned from mob spawners found in Slider's Labyrinth or would spawn randomly hidden in blocks.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
Like Detonation Sentry, in the way that Battle Sentries would hide in the block that they were on, until a player was near. Instead of causing the player to fly into the air, the Battle Sentry would charge at the player, jumping around it and hitting the player. In some ways, the Battle Sentry could be very hard to kill, as it would be constantly moving if any players were nearby.
Battle Sentries only attacked when you were not looking at them, so if they were on your screen for about a second, they would hide in the floor. If you attacked them, they would attempt to hit you however, they would hide once again if you looked at them long enough.
Tips[edit | edit source]
- Try to find a wall, if possible a corner, so that you can wait until they hide and stop moving. After they hide, you should try to take them out one by one, making sure to keep the other hidden ones on your screen as they will attack once you stop looking at them.
- Taking out spawners: you should try and keep all of the sentries on your screen and then take out the spawner from as far as you can. Make sure you have all the active ones killed first before even attempting as trying to break a spawner while being attacked is the last thing you should do in a dungeon, even if you have healing up.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Developer Jaryt uses a battle Sentry in a suit skin, in fact all main developers use skins of characters in suits. The only one not using a normal Aether mob head is OscarPayn's which depicts and old man. Jaryts Battle Sentry skin was made by OscarPayn
