Purple Skyroot Trees are found rarely in the aether. Unlike other kinds of trees, their trunks are made of Skyroot Log Wall instead of Skyroot Logs. They drop Purple Skyroot Sapling and White Apples.

They replace the Crystal Tree from aether 1 which spawned very high and dropped White Apples. In Double (mr360games)'s video Minecraft Aether 2 Mod Alpha Premiere, the purple trees saplings and leaves were named Blue-Orange fruit tree sapling and Blue-Orange fruit leaves.
